אחד הלהיטים הגדולים שיצאו מבית חברת "מוטאון" בשנות השישים. השיר נכתב ע"י משולש הזהב אדי הולנד, למונט דוזייר ובריאן הולנד (הולנד/דוזייר/הולנד), שסיפקו שירים רבים עבור הרביעייה הזו. השלושה עבדו כמפעל. לעתים הספיקו לכתוב 2-3 שירים ביום. זו הסיבה שזכו להצלחה גדולה בפרק זמן קצר. משך 8-9 שנים סיפקו השלושה בין 50 -60 להיטי טופ 20 . רביעיית "הפור טופס" הקליטה אותו בשני טייקים. חבריה שכחו מהשיר, עד שהוא יצא לרדיו כסינגל.
השיר הגיע למקום הראשון בבריטניה ובארה"ב ב-1966. ביצועים אחרים: דיאנה רוס לאלבומה Surrender שיצא ב-1971, גלוריה גיינור – גרסת דיסקו בשנת 1975, רמיקס של השיר המקורי שעשו Stock, Aitken & Waterman, שהגיעה למקום ה-11 בבריטניה ב-1988.
