השיר "Free" המעובד יפהפה בפיוז'ן אלקטרו‑פופ עם נגיעות היפ הופ וג'אז, הוא טקסט אישי של חיפוש עצמי. זהו שיר שמצד אחד נשען על מבנה פופי חזרתי (“I can’t figure out what’s the way to be free…”), אבל מצד שני ו כתוב כמו זרם תודעה של מישהו שנמצא באמצע מאבק פנימי – בין הצורך בשליטה לבין הרצון להשתחרר.

הפזמון – מנטרה של חיפוש זהות, השילוב של "free" ו‑"me" שם את החירות והזהות האישית יחד.המסר: “אני מחפש לא רק חופש, אני מחפש את עצמי”. החזרתיות על השורה משקפת את תחושת התקיעות, כמו אדם שחוזר על אותו משפט כי הוא עוד לא מצא תשובה.
השיר עובד על זרם תודעה של מאבק פנימי "Asking me to commit the flow / Asking me to release control again…" תחושה שמבקשים ממנה “לזרום”, “לשחרר שליטה” – אבל אינה יודעת איך.
היא חיה בתוך פרדוקס: רצון לשלוט מול צורך לשחרר. החמלה כלפי עצמה מתרחקת והיא נשארת חשופה: "My compassion is running away behind / leaving me exposed" – זו שורה חזקה של פגיעות.
"protected by demons pushing me apart from the truth" מרגישה שיש “שדים” שמרחיקים אותה מהאמת – אולי הגנות נפשיות, טראומות, פחדים. מצד אחד “הגנה”, מצד שני “הרחקה מהאמת” – שוב פרדוקס.
"Every time I'm trying to rest… a mess is on the edge of bursting / I'm bursting in flames" – מצב נפשי לחוץ – אש פנימית, “עומד להתפוצץ”.

בחלק האחרון יש שינוי קטן בטון. מתחילה להסכים לנסות. זהו רגע של פתח – לא תשובה, אבל מוכנות.: "No / Don’t want to leave. / Have to accept what they’re willing to give / I’m trying to figure / Now, I think I’m willing to try.
“Free” הוא הוא יומן אישי של חיים בתוך מאבק רגשי: האם אפשר להיות חופשי באמת? האם אפשר להיות אני? העיבוד הרב‑סגנוני נותן מקום גם לסערה (היפ הופ), גם להקלה (פופ), וגם לחיפוש חופשי (ג’אז). הביצוע הקולי , הרמוניות מעצימות את תחושת הכאוס הנפשי. שיר שני ונווה אשכנזי הלכו על חופש מוזיקלי מתוחכם כדי ליצור פיוז'ן מרהיב.
