חיכינו לה. אחרי האירוויזיון  עדן גולן היתה אמורה להתחיל מסלול שיוביל אותה רחוק. אם זה השיר שמסמן אותו – אז בהערכה ראשונה – היא ככל הנראה בדרך הנכונה, והשאלה המתבקשת – האם הוא מהסוג שפורץ דרך בשוק הפופ העולמי.
המילים – על התמודדות רגשית, שיש בה רגעים קשים וחשוכים, רכבת הרים פנימית, שמתבטאת בזיכרונות שמציפים, מחנק בגרון, קולות בראש. זקוקה שיתמכו בה כדי שלא תיפול ותגיע לשלווה המיוחלת.
יש כאן תפירה למידותיה, הטקסט (הלא מיוחד) לחן מלודי להפליא, בנוי לתלפיות, מעובד ברגישות, מעבר דרמטי יפה ב- I will wait for you. לכאורה הכל כאן נכון כבלדת פופ נוגעת ומגעת, וזה אולי מה שעומד לשיר לרועץ – בגלל הניסיון השקוף משהו לייצר להיט שנשמע מאוד אירוויזיון  באוריינטציה נכונה. אין לי ספק, שאם השיר יכה גלים בשוק העולמי – זה בזכות עדן גולן, שממשיכה לגלות מיומנות, מקצועיות ויכולות ביצוע נדירות.
