יעל דקלבאום עבדה על השיר הזה זמן רב. הוא התבשל לאט, והוא יוצא בזמן. לא בטוח  שהוא ישנה משהו, אבל הוא צריך להישמע בימים שאומה במרכז אירופה נלחמת על חייה. השיר נכתב על ידי מי  שצעדה משך שלוש שנים בצעדות נשים עם "תפילת  האמהות". עכשיו רואים אותן כואבות, אומללות, נואשות ותשושות בדרכים נמלטות מארצן, נושאות על ידיהן את ילדיהן, אינן יודעות אנה פניהן, והאם עוד יזכו לראות בעליהן.

קצב רגאיי ומוסיקה תוססת ונגישה מניעים מילים שצריכות להישמע ולהגיע. יותר מדי גברים אבודים בצבאות השכחה, מתגעגעים לרוך ידה של אמא טבע, יותר מדי גברים הורגים זה את זה. מה עם נשים? דקלבאום קוראת לנשים להתאחד. רבים מהמכשולים להעצמת נשים טבועים בנורמות תרבותיות. האם זו אשלייה שהן תשננה פני המציאות?
