מקום ראשון בבילבורד השבוע – ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ של מריה קארי – 25 שנה לאחר יציאתו לאור (שנת 1994) השיר הופיע רק ב- EP של חג המולד ולא כסינגל של מריה, כלומר אפילו לא הוצג ב- Billboard Hot 100. במהלך השנים האחרונות השיר הגיע למעלה מצעד ה-100 בכל דצמבר, אבל השנה סוף סוף – טיפס למקום הראשון. זו הפעם ה-19 שמריה קארי מגיע למקום הראשון בבילבורד. היא קרובה לשיא של הביטלס שהגיעו 20 פעם למקום הראשון במצעד הסינגלים.
לשיר יש מסר פשוט. מריה קארי לא מודאגת מכל הטרררם של חג המולד – היא רק רוצה להיות עם הגבר שלה. קארי ווולטר אפנאסייף כתבו את השיר בקיץ 1994, הם חשבו על שיר חג מולד uptempo בסגנון ההפקות הקבוצתיות של פיל ספקטור משנות ה -60. התוצאה שיר מאוד מהנה ובלתי נשכח, אם כי אפאנאסייף דאג שהוא בסיסי מדי.
מבחינת השמעות (לפחות באמריקה), זהו ללא ספק שיר חג המולד המצליח ביותר שנכתב אחרי 1963, אחרי בינג קרוסבי של "Do You Hear What I Hear?" בבריטניה רק שיר אחד הגיע לשיאים כאלה – "Do They Know It's Christmas?" בביצוע Band Aid, שיצא ב-1984.
