למה התכוונה שרה סמיר ב – Walking On Air? הביטוי עשוי להשתמע גם כחשה טוב –  feeling extremely happy. לפי השיר מבחינת הרגשתה היא בנתק – תלויה בין שמיים לארץ, בין אהבה לאובדנה ללא אחיזה.
סמיר תועה בדרכי החיים/ האהבה, אבל לא ממש יורדת לעומק הסיפור אלא מעדיפה להשתעשע עם המטפורה – What kind of music you make when you love/ What kind of love you make when you music. הסיפור שלה הגיע בדף ההודעה לעיתונות, אבל הוא אינו מוכר למאזין הלא מודע-מקושר. מה חבל שהיא הסתפקה רק במשפטי תהיה ושאלה, מבלי לגעת בשורשי הסיפור שלה.
יותר מהמילים המוסיקה משדרת תחושה מתוך פיקחון,  מנגינה וקצב במבנה סימטרי של בית ופזמון, שמוליכים לנתיב אמצע דרך נגיש בטון בהיר ובהרמוניה  מופלאה. נוצרה זרימה מלודית יפה מעוטרת בצלילי נשיפה בניחוח ג'אזי בהפקה משובחת של אבי טולדנו.
התחושה היא ששרה סמיר מתענגת על הווית הנתק המשאירה אותה On Air, נוגעת יותר בחופש ובשחרור יותר מאשר לכודה בחוסר מוצא. האם זו התחושה שרצתה לשדר מהטקסט?
